"They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." Acts 2:42 (NASB) We pattern ourselves after the early Christians in Acts 2, you will experience the preaching to be centered on the Word of God that will be relevant to your life. Our Sunday worship begins at 10:45 am. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. We know that God does not want you feeling alone, but instead to know that you are welcome to come as you are. |

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the same of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matt. 28:19-20 (NASB)
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." 2 Tim 3:16-17 (ESV) Making disciples is very important for building the Kingdom of God. Wanting to be doers of the Word, we study His Word to experience God's love and grace personally and to be equipped to share God's love with others. |

The Advent season is a four week period before Christmas that celebrates the anticipation and coming of Jesus Christ, the Messiah. The origin of "advent" is from the Latin word adventus which simply translates "coming" or "arrival". Not only is the Christian meaning for preparation and celebration of the coming of Jesus Christ, his birth at Christmas, but also to celebrate the new life when someone accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior, and lastly, the anticipation of Jesus returning again. 7:00 PMMidweek Lenten Services
|
||
Lent is a 40-Day journey of renewal that begins each year with Ash Wednesday to prepare us for the celebration of Jesus' Resurrection. We include the Imposition of the Ashes as a reminder that "for you are dust, and to dust you shall return” (Gen 3:19b). The Lenten services are an opportunity to draw closer to God by self-examination and reflecting on the suffering, sacrifice, and death that Jesus endured for the payment of our sins. Through grace by faith we are set free from the chains of our sins. We renew our commitment in following Christ as our Lord and learn how to live for Him. |
